crazy sizing

A 51 mm Lens cover is a size 31. I sent the lens covers back to Butler Creek and never heard back from them. They got the covers, I got the shaft!

Fits 56mm objective on Millett LRS-1

The 56mm objective cap that came with my Millett LRS-1 was pretty cheesy so I turned, as always to Butler Creek. The Butler Creek units works fine, but is noisier than the stock piece and sadly, is not much better quality. In fact, the cap that came with the scope is more robust. Should have stuck with the stock cap rather than buy the Butler Creek (never thought I would say that)!

Does the job

Overall, I'm giving the product 3 stars ('It's OK'); it does the job, plus it's the only objective cover on the market that fits my particular scope.
On the downside, it's not very rugged. I'm ordering a replacement, in fact. Seems the hinge came down with 'plastic fatigue' and snapped after 3 years, which, given the price, isn't too bad.

IMPORTANT: Check Butler Creek's website for the sizing charts before ordering.
51 is the model number, not the diameter in millimeters...
