This is an extremely well made and reliable scope for most large caliber and even some smaller caliber revolvers. I use this product for my Taurus Tracker 357 Magnum and I am impressed by the functionality as well as the design quality. This item has renewed my enthusiasm for spending those big bucks for ammo in my 357 mag! (I also purchased the accuscope sighting chart which saved me about $200 in ammo cost.)If you need a handgun scope for hunting or shooting practice at the range, give this product a try! I am a military member who enjoys a great product that helps to improve accuracy and overall fundamentals of shooting. The scope is about 9oz and can feel like 9 pounds on a heavy wheel gun. Keep in mind that this product is silver matte and will be close to the muzzle end of the firearm. IT WILL GET DIRTY. But, cleanup is easy and quick w/ some aluminum polish or gun solvent. The lenses are clear and crisp and give excellent F.O.V. for long range target aquisition. The lens won't fog either which means the world to "real" hunters! The 2-6x32mm is perfect for acquiring just the right sight picture and its easy to use by simply turning the dial. Overall, I rate this product a 5 out of 5! Great Buy. All of your friends will be jealous...mine are!

The Simmons Pro-Hunter is an amazing scope. Solid, steady, and deadly accurate! Aside from performance, the Simmons scope is a great value, as well. I took my first deer using this scope on my Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag. It was a clean and deadly shot. Highly recommend this scope!

I purchased this scope to mount on a Ruger Mark III Hunter and have found it to be excellent. The scope was outstanding right out of the box and after several hundred rounds for me to adapt to using a scope (have never used one on a pistol before and last used one on a rifle probably over 50 years ago) I have found it to be extremely accurate and great at holding its setting.
It has resulted in a fairly heavy pistol and I cannot imagine using it at above 4X (most of the time at 2X or 3X), but my shooting has been in an indoor range limited to about 20 yards.
Great value, well made, I would recommend it highly.
