Cover doesn't really hook on either end - more of an envelope with an open bottom that goes down on top of the scope. Covers the whole scope. Good for protecting scope in the safe from other scopes and dust. Don't know if I'd carry it into the field - not overly secure on scope. Good price though.

I purchased this rifle scope cover for my Redfield 2x7x33 scope. Main purpose was to protect the scope while it is in the safe. Do not hunt, so it really doesn't get outside often. I found the cover to be durable. Fit well over my 11.1" scope. The attaching lanyard is a nice feature, especially for those who hunt or carry outdoors. So many scope covers are very expensive. This cover is very reasonable in price and does the job of protecting my scope well. Happy with this purchase.
