I was really looking forward to mounting this scope on a new build carbine. I'm not a virgin and have mounted a scope or two in 60 years, but this thing has way too much slop for a scope that should be as tight as an insect's rear parts. The optics seem fine but the fact that this scope is as "sloppy" on the flatbed as it is (regardless of how tight you push the Allen wrench) is an indication of inattention to detail in the mounting system. Unfortunately I'm probably going to trash this thing and go with something much more modular, something I was hoping to avoid with a "triple threat" all in one system.
In addition, the height of the whole system when complete (5+ inches} makes it too tall for the average assault soft carry bag for even a carbine, and you have to dismount the red dot and put it in a magazine pouch. This doesn't affect the alignment, but is something you should be aware of.

Very Nice combo unit...impressed with the quality of the unit....very easy to assemble and to mount. I would recommend for anyone looking for an affordable upgrade to their AR!

This was very easy to assemble and install on my Del-Ton AR15. The optics are just fine for what you pay, the light is bright and the tac sight (red dot) works very well. It is tight as "a bugs rear parts" (see previous review) and no slop at all. I wasn't after some huge expensive scope, as this is a fun "plinkin" AR15. I mean what do you really need for a .223? If need long range with impeccable accuracy I'll use my TC Venture .300 winmag with the Leupold VX3.
This is a perfect scope for the this gun and pickin off varmints. I had no problem hitting the center of the target @ 150YDS.
I did pay 95.00 at another site though.
