3its all about what you want
By shoe
You get what you pay for.
As others have said it does come in a nice hardcase and a seperate soft case. The tripod is decent. My issue is with the lens. If your looking to hunt game and its large like a deer and you just want a closer view of the target then this is the one for you. If your wanting to site in your rifle at different ranges and want to be able to see your hits on the paper from 100 or more yards, this may disapoint. This scope totaly loses its clarity beyond 55 power and starts to struggle at 50.
I was really hoping this scope would reduce my trips back and forth to view my shots as shooting ranges are extremely limited here and lines develope quickly when your shooting. If you can afford to spend 50.00 bucks more for a better product do it...

4For The Shooting Range & Hunting
By RANGEMAN
I was looking for a scope I could use at my range when shooting my ak-47 and ar-15 and other guns. I really didnt want to spend a ton of money but at the same time didnt want to buy junk. I am a once and done type of buyer. I read almost all reviews on this scope and no one really answered the questions i wanted to know and if they did answer them someone else had and exact oposite thing to say. I wanted something that i could see my shots on paper at 25,50,100,200 yards, with my experience with this scope it works GREAT for the 25,50,100 yard, it focuses in very nice and clear. at 200 yards it is somewhat harder to see the shots on white paper but it is possible. I found that if i use the black targets that glow when the bullet hits them i have no problem seeing where I hit, for me this is not a problem for the price point.. I really dont shoot 200 yard that offten. some reviews read that they didnt have a problem seeing the bullet holes at 300 yards, from my experience with this scope that just is not true. If you want to shoot over 200 yards i dont think this is the scope for you. when it comes to hunting i also think this scope is perfect for my area. I live in Ohio so there is not miles and miles of open land nor is it extrmly hilly so i have no problem counting the points on a buck 400 to 500 yards away. The scope seems to appear well made. The hard case it came in is nice and does what it is made for. I would recommend this scope to anyone who plans on doing what I am doing with it. If you want the absolute best picture and clarity then break out your wallet and spend double the price.... I give the scope an A- overall so it gets 4 stars for me. I would buy it again.

P.S. If you plan on just target shooting with this scope BUY THE STRAIGHT SCOPE, NOT THE ANGLED. I picked up the angled because i also hunt with it,not just target shoot. God Bless

4Good value for the money.
By Brad
I purchased this scope primarily for checking targets at the shooting range. I not only find it adequate, but it slightly exceeds my expectations. True, the scope is not "hefty", but it doesn't have that "empty beer can" feel either. The glass is better than most sub-$100 scopes and I can clearly dial in 100-150yrds during the day (this is easily beyond my visual aiming acuity without a rifle scope). Easy to operate adjustments and comfortable angled eyepiece. My only ding is for short eye-relief, but hey, it is what it is. The tripod isn't great, but it's metallic and seems serviceable for sitting on the range bench. (For any other type of scope viewing activity, I would probably use my higher quality Manfrotto tripod or monopod). The carrying case is cheapy, but as long as you don't bang it around or shoot it, it should be ok for storage and transport. The soft case is a nice plus for easier portability.

For all the marginal reviews on this scope, all I can think is that some folks were expecting a $500-$1000 unit for $100+/-. I find that you generally get what you pay for. For the money, if you're an average Joe/Joanne target shooter and/or an aspiring nature watcher, this unit does just fine.
